The Conference 2014 of the Asia and Pacific Disability Forum (APDF) was held at the Melia Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam, 26-29 November 2014. This was to aim to promote the Asian Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities 2013-2022. Conference theme was "Accelerating Action to Make the Rights Real of People with Disabilities". 
Following three themes were put.
1. Poverty reduction and access to human rights of persons with disabilities
2. UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), Incheon Strategy and post-2015 development strategies.
3. Participation of Youth with disabilities in Disability rights.

Totally about 500 participants including 80 Vietnamese volunteers from 20 countries and areas in Asia and the Pacific region attended and exchanged many significant   speeches and good practices during the dates. 

Our Vice Chairperson Deborah Wan made a presentation on the Workability Movement representing Workability International and Workability Asia in the session of Workshop 1 "Poverty reduction related to vocational training, employment for people with disabilities". Her presentation below.
